A few weeks ago, down in the Rivermarket, I had a photo shoot with senior Beth Koehn. Her mom Julie came along and my assistant Gwen was there to help as well. It turned out to be a beautiful day, we just had to battle the wind a little bit. Julie is one of my dear friends, and Beth’s brother, Aaron, was my very first senior portrait session 3 years ago! Last night was the super VIP Party for the big financial supporters of 1YEAR2GO event for the new Kauffman Center for Performing Arts building near the Power & Light District. The party tonight was held at the home of Marny & John Sherman. The honorary chairs are George & Leslie Brett. Here are a few of the Who’s Who in attendance
Basketball Boogie is a fundraiser held by the Assists Foundation which was created by KU Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Bill Self.
We had the pleasure of entertainment provided by Disco Dick and the Mirror Balls. Also part of the evening, a delish all-you-can-eat buffet, and a live silent auction.
A big thanks to Nathan Choate of Creative Photographic for having us along to help shoot the event!
